Inspection Comments |
Walk in freezer has been repaired, ice accumulation at the door is no longer an issue. All foods that are repackaged are labeled with ingredients, allergens and cooking instructions as applicable. Volunteers are effectively trained and assigned to specific duties. Overall very well ran with a focus on food safety. Expiration & Best By Dates are for food quality, not safety. There is no issue in distributing food past a best by date, with the exception of baby formula and baby food. Person in charge stated they follow food recalls. Food recalls are posted on the TCHD Facebook page. Follow us for updates. Discussed spices & lead contamination. Follow TCHD Facebook page for recalls. |
